Chris John Successfully Defended His Title
WBA featherweight super champion, Chris "The Dragon" John successfully defended his title after defeating the challenger - also from Indonesia, Daud "Cino" Yordan, Sunday (17/4). 3 judges gave scores 112-116, 112-116 and 111-117, all for Chris John's victory.
More experienced, Chris John gave more serious blows to his opponent. His blow variations are difficult to anticipate by Daud Yordan. Instead, Daud Yordan was too easily provoked that his punches are less effective.
Aware that he loses in scores, Daud Yordan directly ambushed Chris John since the beginning of 12th round. However, Chris John did not want to lose his reputation by serving Yordan's hard game. The experienced boxer performs with step back and embraces tactics, which makes his opponent frustrated.
With this victory, Chris John has 46 fights, with 44 wins (22 KOs), 2 draws, and has never lost. While Daud Yordan's record is 27 wins (21 KOs) and 2 loses.
