'Crop Circle' In Sleman

Residents of Sleman, Yogyakarta, was shocked by the signs that appear mysteriously in the rice field after the winds. The large circle appears in the middle of rice field in the area of Mount Suru, Jogotirto, Berbah. There are mysterious symbol at center of the giant circle, which is formed by the rice that fell after the high winds. Some locals believe the giant ring-shaped marks as aircraft landing of Unidentified Flying Object (UFO). This incident is believed to be the first time that happened in Indonesia, although it's also happening in various locations in the world.

Compared to events those occurred in other places, crop circle that occurred in Sleman relatively much smaller, its diameter only about 70 meters. This phenomenon has attracted the attention of locals.

Song - Nurdin Turun Donk


Demands of national football lovers for Nurdin Halid, PSSI (Persatuan Sepakbola Seluruh Indoensia = Indonesian Football Association) chairman to resign continues. Sasando


Sasando"
Sasando is a stringed musical instrument from Rote Island, Nusa Tenggara Timur (Eastern Lesser Sundas). In Rote language, "sasandu" means vibrating or sounded instrument. It's said Sasando already in use among the Rote community since the 7th century. At first glance, Sasando looks similar to other stringed instruments such as guitar, violin and harp.

The principal part of Sasando is a long cylinder commonly made of bamboo. The central is circle from the top to the bottom and there are some wedges where the strings are stretched, from the top to the bottom. These wedges give different tones to each picked string. This Sasando tube was placed in a container made from Gebang (a kind of woven palm) leaves that made like a fan. This is where the resonance of sasando comes from.

Sasando has many strings. Sasando with 28 strings are termed Sasando Engkel. Another type; Sasando Doble, has 56 strings. There's even a Sasando with 84 strings.

WBA Super World featherweight title - Chris John UD 12 Fernando David Saucedo


WBA featherweight champion from Indonesia, Chris John, extending his title after being declared unanimous decision victory over the 15th rank from Argentina, Fernando Saucedo, the 12-round bout at the Closed Tennis Stadium Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Sunday, December 5th. Three judges gave points 119-109, 119-109, and 120-108 for Chris john's victory.

With this victory Chris John match record up to 44 wins (22 by knockout), two draws, and never lost.

In a match that was witnessed by about 1,000 spectators, Chris John was aggressive and somewhat emotional. This is due to his opponent continues to keep a distance and stick with a tight double cover. This makes difficult for Chris John to cast an effective blow at a distance. Many Chris John's blow didn't hit the target because his opponent has moved backwards.

Sheikh Puji sentenced to 4 Years Prison


After repeated trials which took a long time, defendant breach the Child Protection Act, Pujiono Cahyo Widianto (or known as Sheikh Puji) was sentenced to four years in prison and a fine of 60 million rupiah subsidiary of four months in prison, by the Ungaran District Court judge, Semarang regency, Central Java, on Wednesday (November 24, 2010).

Sheikh Puji sentencing hearing lasted nearly 6 hours, starting at 09.30 am until 15:30 pm, with a tight guard of police officers. In the trial, Sheikh Puji accompanied by his lawyer, OC Kaligis. The judges said Sheikh Puji has been proven to have violated Article 81 of Law No.23 Year 2002 on Child Protection, intentionally commit violence or threats of violence, forcing children to perform sexual intercourse with him or anyone else. Sheikh Puji is also presumed to wedge right of the child for having married Lutviana Ulfa, which on August 8, 2008 was only 12 years old.
